Monster's Face

3-page worksheet. Students unscramble the words, label a monster, colour a monster, complete a description, draw a monster according to instructions and draw their own scary monster.

TIP: You can have a speaking activity as follow-up. Students work in pairs. They sit back to back and draw their own scary monster.  Student  A describes the monster to student B, who draws the monster while he listens to his partner’s description. Then they change places. Finally, they compare drawings in front of the class.

Clothes

Students match the pictures to the descriptions and describe the boy and the girl.

TIP: You can have a “Fashion Show” as follow-up activity -  students walk an imaginary runway, with some music in the background, while the others describe their clothes. (e.g. “He’s got/He’s wearing blue shorts and a  red t-shirt.”)

Verb To Be

Learning the verb “to be”: the most important moment in students’ lives!:) Thanks to Phillip Martin’s illustrations, I was able to make this power point, a nice way of teaching this verb for the first time.

Halloween

A Halloween worksheet that you can use as a follow up for the Halloween game.

Body and Colours

Students read and colour the pictures. Suitable for very young learners.

Halloween Game

This is a spooky Halloween Game focusing on Halloween vocabulary. Students help the witch find her way home: they click on the right answer and the witch flies to the next question.

TIP: You can also play this game in teams: divide the class into two teams and see which of them manages to take the witch home faster.
